Need to brush up on your FACS coding skills? Perhaps a refresher to get back into shape after time off coding or maybe you are preparing to take the FACS final test and want some more practice? To address such needs and requests from former students, I have created a new offering: “FACS Coding Group.” It is a small coding practice group - designed for people who want to refresh or reinforce their FACS coding skills.

The group will consist of 4, 90-minute sessions during which we meet live, online and code code code and discuss coding. Coding images will be provided (new and different from those in the manual). This is not instruction in FACS, but an opportunity to code with group discussion, expert feedback, and accurate, vetted FACS answers to new images and videos. Price per person will be $350 USD for the 4, 90 min sessions.

Prerequisites:

The FACS coding group is not instruction in FACS. It’s an opportunity to practice, FACS coding with others with expert guidance and expert codes with which to compare your work. Participants must have learned FACS and know how to FACS code prior to attending to the coding group, either through self study or completion of a FACS class.

Prior FACS Experience

Please briefly describe your experience with FACS coding. Note when you learned it, how (self-study or through a course) and whether you have taken (and passed) the FACS the final test. Passing the Final Test is *not* required for this group (in fact, this is great preparation).

Registration Details

Registration Fee: $350 USD

Registration deadline: May 15. If the minimum number of people needed to conduct this class is not met by that time, your payment will be refunded. Otherwise, registration is non-refundable. If an emergency requires you to cancel, you can receive a credit, minus the $25 processing fee, toward a future offering to be used within the next three years.

Once your application has been approved, full payment is required to secure your spot. Your place cannot be confirmed without payment.
